Dress Code:
A professional appearance is expected during Training. Please wear closed-toe shoes, formal pants, and a semi-formal shirt. Long hair must be tied back for safety reasons.

Course Completion:
Full attendance and completion of all class hours are mandatory for successful Course completion.
A typical 1- day Training Course consists of 7 hours.

Class Schedule: Training classes are generally held from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM unless otherwise arranged with your Educator. This includes a daily 40-minute lunch break and two 10-minute breaks. Breaks are designated for rest and refreshment and cannot be used to shorten the Training day.

Attendance and Conduct: Planet Nails reserves the right to refuse Training to any student who misses scheduled classes, disrupts the learning environment, or fails to adhere to Course policies.

Rescheduling:
Rescheduling confirmed Training dates requires a minimum of 3 weeks’ notice (refer to Registration clause for details). A late reschedule fee of R1500 per day will apply for changes within the 3-week window.

Full Courses:
If a course is full, meaning that more than 6 Students booked, you will automatically be moved to the next available date. If a Course date did not receive a minimum of 3 Students who booked, you will be moved to the next available date. Dates are subject to change without prior notice. Courses needs to have between 3 and 6 Students to be confirmed.

Training Kit:
Training kits will be distributed during the training and should remain at the training venue until the course is completed.

Conversion Courses:
Students enrolling in Conversion Courses must provide proof of prior training and qualifications. Students attending Conversion Courses are responsible for bringing or purchasing any required products beforehand. Only Planet Nails products are permitted for use during Conversions. Conversion Courses are charged at a rate of R1500 per day.

Conversion Courses do not include exams. Attendance certificates will be issued for workshops upon completion of satisfactory work.

Student Work and Social Media:
Planet Nails may use photos of students and their work done during class hours for promotional purposes on the Planet Nails Facebook page.

Performance and Additional Training: Educators may recommend additional Training days at R1500 per day if a student’s skill level requires further development after the initial training period.

Practical Hours and Case Studies: in each section. Exams must be completed withAll exam materials and products used must be from the Planet Nails Training Kit. Only Planet Nails products are permitted during exams. Submitted practical hours/case studies must be approved before booking exams.

Certification:
Upon successful completion and passing of both exams, your Educator will initiate the request for your official certificate.

Full Payment Required:
All courses must be paid in full before the Course start date. This ensures a confirmed training spot and avoids any delays.

Confirmation and Scheduling:
Training dates are confirmed upon receipt of full payment.

Rescheduling:
Both Planet Nails and the student reserve the right to reschedule training dates with a minimum of 3 weeks’ notice.

 Late Changes by Student: If a student needs to change the confirmed Training date within 3 weeks of the original start date, a 30% cancellation fee will be applied to the Training price. An additional 30% payment will be required to secure a new Training date.

Cancellations: Students canceling their Training for any reason will forfeit a 50% cancellation fee. The remaining 50% of the Training price will be refunded.

Receipts and Forms: Students are entitled to request and receive a receipt for their payment and a copy of the completed registration form.

One-on-One Training: Individualized, one-on-one training is available for an additional 25% fee. Students must provide live models during Training. This is important as working on a Practice Hand and a live model is not the same at all. Students are required to attend Courses without any artificial product on their nails. Students will work on their own nails.

I understand and agree to the following: Once full payment is made, the Theory Manual will be emailed to me within 24 hours. The Training Kit will be ordered and couriered to the relevant Training Centre. It is my responsibility to study the Theory Manual before attending the Training Course. Should I have any questions, I will have the opportunity to ask your educator for assistance during the Training Course. Please note that if you need to change the Course you want to attend, you will be responsible for any delivery and administrative charges associated with exchanging the Training Kits. The Training Kit cannot be exchanged once it has been opened and used. **Theory Manuals are only applicable to Training Courses.
