Once a topic is determined and it is understood what will be written about, it is time to create a draft outline. This outline will show the main points to be made in the research presentation. Typically, this will contain five main points, although there can be more if the project is complex.
As an example, let’s use the focal point, “Are Heart disease and Arrhythmia related diseases?” An outline might look like this:
- Introduction
- Understanding Heart disease
- Understanding Arrhythmia
- Outline of Similarities
- Outline of Differences
- Conclusion
