Identifying the words that represent your values is just one part of the process. The next step is to clearly define these values so that everyone understands their meaning. For instance, if “innovation” is recognized as a core value, its interpretation may vary among individuals. By crafting a statement like, “We foster an environment where innovation thrives,” you clarify the value’s significance. If both honesty and integrity are acknowledged as essential values, you can combine them in a unified statement, such as, “We uphold honesty and integrity in all our actions.” By following the approach of selecting no more than three values, you will create up to three value statements.
